
On 9th June 2026, the Pru West District Assembly hosted a monitoring meeting on the implementation of the 2025 Financial Year and First Quarter 2026 Composite Budget. The meeting was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance’s Fiscal Decentralization Unit (FDU) and took place at the Assembly’s Conference Hall in Prang.
The meeting commenced with a welcome address by the District Chief Executive (DCE), followed by opening remarks from the Head of the FDU team. Discussions focused on assessing the implementation of the 2025 Composite Budget and reviewing the District’s performance for the first quarter of 2026 through a budget monitoring questionnaire.
Participants, including members of the Budget Committee and Heads of Departments, actively contributed to the discussions by providing relevant information and updates on budget implementation, revenue mobilization, and project execution within the District.
The exercise formed part of the Ministry of Finance’s efforts to monitor budget performance, ensure accountability, and strengthen fiscal management at the local government level. The meeting ended with closing remarks from the Head of the FDU team, who expressed appreciation to participants for their cooperation and commitment to the development of the District.
