A youth empowerment programme was held at the Conference Room of the Pru West District Assembly, bringing together management and staff of the Assembly, along with constituency executives of the governing party.
The initiative, implemented under the Ghana Enterprises Agency, is aimed at equipping selected young people with modern vocational tools to enhance productivity, improve service delivery, and promote sustainable livelihoods.
Beneficiaries received a range of start-up equipment covering barbering, plumbing, refrigeration, tiling, auto mechanics, auto electrical works, and steel bending.
The intervention forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen youth skills development, job creation, and economic empowerment under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.
The programme is expected to support self-employment opportunities and contribute to improved economic resilience among youth in the Pru West District.
