In line with section 20(1) of the local government Act (Act 936) as amended and section 15(2) model standing orders for MMDAS, The Pru West District Assembly at a special meeting held on Tuesday, 15TH April, 2025. Confirmed Mr. Samuel Agyapong, the president nominee for the position of District Chief Executive.
Mr. Agyapong secured all 18 votes cast, representing 100 percent endorsement by the Assembly members.
Delivering a short remark after the confirmation, Mr. Agyapong thanked the president for nominating him and the Assembly Members for the massive endorsement to serve the good people in the District. He also expressed his gratitude to the Traditional authorities, party executives for their support and indicate his unflinching commitment to working hard to solve the problems confronting the people in the District. The Bono East Regional Minister Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi, the member of parliament for Pru West constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Ntekuni and the Bono East Regional Chairman for National Democratic Congress Mr.Unas Owusu graced this important occasion.
Also Presents were traditional authorities, Heads of security Agencies, Heads of Department and some party faithful.
